200 Years of Catholic Education Mass

2nd June 2021

200 Years of Catholic Education Mass

On Monday 24th May, the whole College united in the Marian Centre to celebrate 200 hundred years of Catholic education in Australia. From humble beginnings, 31 students entered the now St. Patrick’s Primary in Parramatta. With 770,000 students across Australia in 2021, this Mass was celebrated at the same time in every Catholic school. Our students were respectful, participated well and Bath Street stole the show with their singing and actions.

With the Traeger and Sadadeen Campuses at the Marian Centre for Mass. Fr Prakash spoke during the homily about the importance of education within the Catholic Faith, reaching out to over 700,000 students schooled within a Catholic School Nationally. Getting together for such a milestone in Catholic Education culminated in the singing of ‘Faith in Our Future’ in which the Bath St students performed the actions in unison and sang with pride!

Our Prime Minister Scott Morrison also congratulated everyone within and whom attended a Catholic School, Early Learning Centre or University via a video shared on the Catholic Education website. To each of you, we thank you for entrusting us with the very important task of educating your child. God bless you.
