This morning the year 10 VET Health class along with students in year 11 interested in a career in Health were privileged to have four young medical students from Flinders university and Tristrum and Lexie from PHN Alice Springs come into the school to speak to the students about pathways into medical/ Allied health careers.

It was an excellent hands on morning where the students learnt how to suture/ stitch up a wound, practiced their CPR skills and refreshed their knowledge on snake bites and bandaging a snake bite.

It was a very informative practical morning and students are so lucky to have this opportunity. Hopefully in 8 years time we will have 30 ex OLSH students graduating from Flinders in various Health careers.
